I started using FP because my type one diabetic cat Cruz Del Gato liked to supliment his insulin with BOAT LOADS of Water he could turn regular litter into mud is one day, He died at twelve (8 years ago) but his sister & my new cats still use FP original. The best thing about it is when it gets “wet” it smells like a lumber yard after a rain storm which is much better than urine or perfume! Also since it is made from lumber waste rather then mined from the Utah deserts (as most scoopable litter is) I feel good that my pet ownership is not causing damage to my planet!

I adopted a rescue cat who had been declawed. She had a history of urinating just outside the litter box. When I started using Feline Pine Scoop she started urinating in the box and never went back to her old habit. Her paws were scarred from the declawing and I suspect that other litters were too rough on her pads.
