Hi there. I am a composting nut who is becoming a home composting consultant. I compost my Feline Pine in a simple cheap digester unit appropriate for any environment and would be happy to tell other folks how they can do the same. I also am experimenting with mulch applications. I have done quite a bit of research on the subject of recycling pet waste and am happy to share my information and sources.

So my real question is…

I agree—I would love some tips on composting my feline pine litter. I hear so many different things. It would be great to get some tips from someone who’s already doing it.

I second the request for composting info! Well… I guess I’m third-ing it!

Info on how to recycle used FP and/or kitty poo was why I came to this forum in the first place. There is so much conflicting information out there on how to dispose of various litterbox contents that it’s really hard for us newbies to get a handle on it. I got answers for a lot of totally different kitty-related things here in the forum, but I’m still spinning my wheels trying to figure the real scoop on the poop. (pun intended!) It would be great if we could get some expert advice on the subject!
